Software Engineer - Developer Experience, Web (Node.js/TypeScript)

Salary: $130,600–$192,000 USD base salary annually, plus potential equity grants

What you will do

• Build foundational libraries, monorepos, build systems, CI systems, and development tooling for web applications.
• Architect and implement tools that improve the productivity, security, and reliability of web engineers.
• Deliver high-impact initiatives used by engineers across multiple product teams.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and organizational leaders on cross-functional initiatives.
• Mentor web engineers, share best practices, and support technical education and community engagement.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in the Node.js and TypeScript ecosystem.
• Experience shipping important changes in large, complex codebases and monorepos.
• Ability to use feedback and data to improve how developers build, test, and release web applications.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor across software design, code generation, testing, monitoring, and release.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be located in one of the listed United States locations.
