Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer (HR Tech)

Location: Hybrid in Lehi, Utah, with 1 to 2 days per week in the office

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year, excluding discretionary bonus and equity

What you will do

• Develop full-stack product features for a high-performance, high-availability platform.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well-scoped features.
• Design and improve scalable distributed systems and cloud technology solutions.
• Build test-driven software and CI/CD pipelines focused on reliability and quality.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• 3 to 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Professional proficiency in one or more of Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of programming principles, design patterns, and full-stack application development.
• Experience with scalable systems, distributed systems, CI/CD, SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule in Lehi, Utah, with 1 to 2 days per week in the office.
• Effective written and verbal English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js or other frontend technologies.
• Bilingual English and Chinese communication skills.
