Clinical Data Operator (LIMS)

Location: On site in Pleasanton, California. Tuesday–Saturday day shift, 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Salary: $19–$23.75 per hour; hourly rate starts at $21.77.

What you will do

• Create orders and perform accessioning checks in the Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS).
• Accession blood, buccal, and tissue samples accurately and efficiently.
• Enter and update patient data, scan requisition forms, and attach documentation to cases.
• Protect patient health information (PHI) and follow HIPAA, privacy, security, SOP, and laboratory quality requirements.
• Sort incoming packages, transport them to the laboratory, and maintain clean workstations and laboratory areas.
• Complete required compliance and security training and maintain current training status.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of industry-related experience.
• Previous computer experience.
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on site in Pleasanton, California, Tuesday through Saturday during the day shift.

• Previous data entry experience.
• Experience accessioning different product types with accuracy and efficiency.
