Bank Rec Staff Accountant

Salary: $45,000–$55,000 per year

What you will do

• Complete assigned monthly bank reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Assist reconciliation preparers and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
• Monitor daily EFT reports and uncleared checks, and clear checks and EFTs from Sagitta weekly.
• Post necessary journal entries and approve cash posting reports for the Cash Receipts department.
• Prepare escheatment filings and monthly and quarterly reports.
• Respond to internal and external auditor requests and complete additional accounting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Two to four years of progressive accounting and financial experience.
• Extensive experience with bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, urgency, self-motivation, and teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience with CashPro Online or another online banking platform.
