Recruiting Director (Finance, Accounting & Technology)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States. The role requires being based in the local market and regularly participating in office-based collaboration, local networking, and client or market events.

Compensation: $123,200–$154,000 per year, plus incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and execute talent strategies aligned with business priorities, client demand, workforce trends, and growth objectives.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting for Finance, Accounting, and Technology consulting roles, from sourcing and assessment through offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Partner with Sales, Talent, and Consulting to anticipate capability gaps and match consultant skills with client opportunities.
• Build external talent pipelines and maintain networks across priority industries, functional areas, and markets.
• Support consultant engagement, development, deployment, redeployment, retention, and career planning.
• Monitor pipeline health, talent supply, deployment activity, retention trends, and workforce gaps while improving processes and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience in staffing, consulting, or professional services.
• Experience recruiting Finance, Accounting, or Technology professionals is required.
• Demonstrated experience in talent strategy, sourcing, talent assessment, workforce planning, consultant engagement, deployment, and retention.
• Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and hireEZ.
• Strong communication, influencing, negotiation, coaching, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited institution is preferred.
