Sr. Manager, Communications (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; on-site

Compensation: $160,000–$195,000 annually plus bonus; restricted stock units included

What you will do

• Lead a strategic news program covering data center development, energy, and real estate.
• Build journalist and influencer relationships and independently pitch and place stories.
• Support community and stakeholder engagement with Public Affairs and Government Affairs teams.
• Develop messaging, op-eds, keynote scripts, and social content for AI infrastructure audiences.
• Monitor industry and community issues, coordinate responses, and protect the brand.
• Manage PR agency priorities and own reporting on coverage, share of voice, and outcomes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of communications or public relations experience with a record of securing coverage in top-tier outlets.
• Daily use of generative AI, AI agents, and LLMs for research, drafting, and workflow automation.
• Strong media relations, independent pitching, narrative development, and writing skills.
• Experience in data center construction or development, energy, infrastructure, real estate, or AI is strongly preferred.
• Ability to execute with limited resources, operate in ambiguity, collaborate across functions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
