Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; onsite role

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Deliver scalable platform capabilities across infrastructure, developer tooling, platform engineering, and ML frameworks.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Architect resilient cloud-native systems using microservices, containers, orchestration, automation, and event-driven processing.
• Build AI-driven applications and integrate machine learning components into services, APIs, and user interfaces.
• Conduct design reviews, define technical standards, and ensure architectural alignment and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, establish success metrics, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, or a relevant bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, API design, full SDLC practices, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components using Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, HPC, fault-tolerant design, SQL/NoSQL database tuning, storage design, security-first engineering, threat modeling, Kafka, queues, and asynchronous processing.
• Ability to work onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
