Sr. IAM Cybersecurity Engineer, Enterprise Identity

Location: Reston, Virginia, USA; hybrid Flex Work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

Annual base salary: $159,600–$239,400 for the primary location; additional US locations: $144,400–$258,000.

What you will do

• Design and support enterprise identity security across IAM, identity lifecycle management, identity governance and administration, and privileged access management.
• Lead Zero Standing Privileges frameworks using Just-In-Time provisioning, risk-adaptive policies, and contextual access evaluations.
• Assess cybersecurity risks across enterprise projects and partner with business, technology, legal, compliance, audit, and security organizations.
• Develop secure business requirements, support identity security architecture, and integrate contextual authorization into identity and governance platforms.
• Evaluate and update security policies, procedures, access controls, and workflows based on least-privilege principles.
• Maintain identity cybersecurity responsibilities across multiple departments and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Requirements

• Work location: USA-based role in Reston, Virginia, with at least 50% quarterly office or field presence.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related IT or information security experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with a master’s degree.
• Experience with Okta, including IAM and Workflows, plus related IGA tools such as Okta Identity Governance or SailPoint.
• Experience with identity lifecycle management and source-of-truth concepts.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, identity management, MFA, SSO, SAML, OIDC, LDAP, security engineering, threat management, and regulatory compliance.

Nice to have

• CISSP or an equivalent certification.
