Phoenix Technology Audit & Advisory Experienced Consultant (AI)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Hybrid workplace combining in-person work in local offices and on client sites with remote work; local or out-of-state travel may be required depending on projects. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $66,000–$99,000 annually, plus a $2,000 bonus target; estimated total cash range of $68,000–$101,000.

What you will do

• Conduct interviews, gather and analyze data, and document audit findings and recommendations.
• Assess technology risks, controls, and processes across cybersecurity, cloud assurance, ITGC, data governance, privacy, enterprise applications, and technology resilience.
• Prepare audit deliverables such as process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.
• Apply analytics, AI, automation, and other technology enablement tools to improve audit execution.
• Support client relationships, collaborate with project teams, and take ownership of assigned work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Understanding of IT audit methodologies and control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, and ITIL.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and technology-related compliance activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio and Access are useful.
• Ability to gather, summarize, examine, and document data and recommendations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or RPA solutions.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP.
• Exposure to analytics, AI/ML, cloud, data governance, privacy, enterprise applications, disaster recovery, or emerging technologies.
