Location: 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, Massachusetts, United States; 100% onsite

Salary: $50,000–$62,853.73 per year

What you will do

  • Provide direct patient care, including recording vital signs, pain screens, height, and weight.
  • Collect, label, and process patient specimens and perform phlebotomy and EKGs as applicable.
  • Assist nursing and medical staff with procedures, including disease-center-specific clinical needs.
  • Transport patients, specimens, medical records, blood components, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, patient-care areas, and related documentation.
  • Communicate patient status, concerns, wait times, and care instructions to patients, families, and clinical staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework is preferred.
  • Two years of equivalent experience in a medical setting required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team and in a busy setting with patients with complex needs.
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Phlebotomy certification may be preferred depending on the location.
