Location: Charlotte, NC; hybrid work with an average of 3 full onsite workdays per week, within a reasonable commute of no more than 50 miles from the assigned hirify.global facility

What you will do

• Monitor and evaluate enterprise cybersecurity safeguards, security controls, policies, standards, and processes.
• Perform security reviews, identify architecture gaps, and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Analyze cyber defense trends and incident data to identify vulnerabilities and accelerate remediation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity leaders and architects to align security technologies, processes, and people with strategic and budget objectives.
• Support compliance activities, customer communications, technical projects, and ongoing security architecture improvements.
• For the senior level, plan, design, implement, and lead cybersecurity governance and risk initiatives with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Analyst level: 2 years of related experience; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED and 6 years of related experience.
• Senior analyst level: at least 5 years of related experience; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED and 9 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, audits, controls, and frameworks such as NIST.
• Experience or knowledge in incident investigation, vulnerability remediation, security reviews, and operational environment risk management.
• Must be able to work lawfully in the United States without employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow or similar asset management database experience, including compliance and cybersecurity dashboards.
• Knowledge of traditional gas-industry OT devices such as PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, and electronic correctors.
• Experience developing processes for isolating and securing OT environments during incident response.
• Experience with statistical models, technical system research, and processing complex cybersecurity data.
