Agile Program Manager (Marine)

Location: Hybrid role based in Mettawa, Illinois, United States, with onsite and offsite work; occasional travel required.

Salary: $118,400–$174,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead program-level delivery across cross-functional digital and technology initiatives, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, financials, and trade-offs.
• Drive Agile delivery and continuous improvement through Scrum practices, team coaching, maturity assessment, and practical process improvements.
• Report program progress, delivery health, risks, dependencies, financials, and trade-offs to technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
• Maintain Agile planning tools, delivery metrics, backlogs, sprint planning, and transparent program information.
• Represent teams in portfolio, roadmap, dependency management, Scrum of Scrums, and coordination forums.
• Identify and resolve blockers, conflicts, unplanned work, and delivery issues while partnering with Product Owners on prioritized backlogs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6+ years of experience in digital product development, Agile delivery, project management, or program management supporting cross-functional technology teams.
• Ability to lead, influence, and coach teams without direct authority while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, facilitation, conflict resolution, delivery management, and team maturity development.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile planning and development tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, or Agile Games.
• Experience with technologies used by the team.
• Previous experience as a Team Leader, Scrum Master, or Project/Program Manager for complex digital or technology initiatives.
• Mentoring and coaching experience.
