Company

Clinical-stage biotechnology company developing allogeneic CAR T-cell products for cancer and autoimmune disease.

What you will do

  • Analyze single-cell RNA-seq, BCR/TCR repertoire, NanoString, flow cytometry, cell kinetics, persistence, and MRD data across CAR-T programs.
  • Integrate multi-platform and longitudinal datasets to support translational and clinical decisions.
  • Develop, document, and maintain reproducible bioinformatics pipelines and inspection-ready data repositories.
  • Generate analyses and documentation for regulatory characterization, IND amendments, information requests, and CMC packages.
  • Prepare figures, methods sections, supplemental data, and reviewer responses for conferences and publications.
  • Collaborate with and train wet-lab scientists while supporting cross-program analysis and competitive data monitoring.

Requirements

  • PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, genomics, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least three years of post-PhD industry experience in biotech or biopharma.
  • Proficiency in R and Python, with experience using single-cell frameworks such as Seurat or Scanpy.
  • Hands-on experience with 10x Genomics platforms and data, including Chromium single-cell, VDJ, or Visium.
  • Experience running analytical workflows on AWS and integrating multi-omics or cross-platform datasets.
  • Experience supporting regulatory submissions or GxP-adjacent documentation, with strong scientific communication and autonomous execution.

Nice to have

  • CAR-T, adoptive cell therapy, oncology clinical-trial, or MRD analysis experience.
  • AI/ML or generative AI application development for biological data, including regulated or GxP-adjacent workflows.
  • Experience with CRO or vendor relationships, LIMS or ELN integration, Snakemake, Nextflow, or equivalent workflow tools.

Culture & Benefits

  • High-ownership, execution-focused work under senior scientific direction.
  • Opportunity to contribute directly to program strategy, regulatory packages, and external scientific communications.
  • Collaborative environment spanning computational and experimental disciplines.
  • Contractor engagement with remote or hybrid work options tied to the South San Francisco headquarters.
