AV & Event Technology Specialist

Location: Fully on-site in Nashville, Tennessee, with a minimum of three full days per week in the corporate office and flexible hours for events outside standard business hours.

Compensation: $36.00–$45.00 per hour, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide daily operational support for conference rooms, screening spaces, and event areas.
• Set up, operate, and strike audiovisual equipment for meetings, town halls, screenings, and special productions.
• Troubleshoot AV incidents, escalate issues when necessary, and collaborate with the Service Desk on ticketing and resolution workflows.
• Configure and support Cisco RoomOS devices, collaboration endpoints, and hybrid meetings using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex.
• Manage IPTV and digital signage systems, including content scheduling, playback verification, monitoring, and vendor coordination.
• Perform preventative maintenance, document room procedures, support high-profile on-site events, and coordinate with vendors and internal technology, facilities, creative, and production teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional experience in AV operations, event support, or similar technical roles.
• Intermediate knowledge of Cisco RoomOS and collaboration endpoints, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams and hands-on experience with displays, switchers, DSPs, microphones, control processors, and conferencing hardware.
• Familiarity with IPTV and digital signage platforms, plus strong troubleshooting skills in live-event and meeting environments.
• Ability to lift and install equipment, run cables, perform physical room setups, and work calmly under time-sensitive conditions.
• Ability and willingness to work fully on-site in Nashville at least three full days per week, with flexible event support hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Crestron XiO Cloud, Q-SYS Reflect, Zoom or Teams administration tools, Crestron, Q-SYS, or Extron systems.
• Experience with Appspace, BrightSign, IPTV, broadcast, or AV-over-IP platforms.
• Basic AV networking knowledge, including VLANs, QoS, and multicast.
• CTS, Crestron, QSC, Extron, or Cisco certifications.
• Experience in large enterprise environments, executive-level events, and PC and Mac platforms.
