Associate Director of Strategic Operations & Partnerships (Genomics)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $131,000–$183,000 per year

What you will do

• Co-lead scientific operations and support research strategy, project launches, portfolio progression, and governance activities.
• Coordinate communication between Broad leadership, Danish collaborators, governance bodies, project leaders, principal investigators, and other stakeholders.
• Track scientific milestones, budgets, timelines, contractual obligations, deliverables, metrics, and major lifecycle evaluations.
• Prepare and facilitate Steering Committee, Governance Committee, Scientific Advisory Board, delegation, and scientific project meetings.
• Direct annual scientific reports, progress updates, impact frameworks, key performance indicators, and Center communications.
• Support IRB submissions, research consent reviews, trainee exchanges, and Material Transfer Agreements with Danish partner institutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a related field and prior management of complex scientific collaborations.
• Master’s or doctoral degree in genetics, data sciences, biomedical science, or a related field.
• Experience in scientific communications and writing, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and project coordination skills.
• Experience developing and tracking complex research budgets and understanding intellectual property issues.
• Ability to manage cross-cultural collaborations between Boston and Denmark and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
