Shipping Clerk

Location: Battle Ground, Washington, USA; onsite warehouse role. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4/10 schedule, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays or weekends.

Salary: $21.01–$25.71 per hour

What you will do

• Pack domestic and international orders using appropriate shipping materials and techniques.
• Pick orders, stack and wrap pallets, apply labels, load and unload trucks, replenish pick zones, and store parts.
• Identify priority shipments and select cost-effective shipping methods, including ground, next-day, full-truckload, and less-than-truckload services.
• Process orders, invoices, packing slips, shipping labels, advance shipping notices, and other required documentation.
• Schedule carrier pickups, communicate delivery details, and coordinate with logistics and other departments on carrier changes, late pickups, and shipping issues.
• Operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks, monitor shipping errors, prepare daily shipping reports, and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely indoors and outdoors and follow warehouse safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills; experience with AS400, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, or UPS Worldship is desirable.
• Strong communication, accuracy, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, push or pull up to 100 pounds, and stand or walk for up to 10 hours per day in a moderate-to-high-noise warehouse environment.

Nice to have

• Previous shipping experience.
• Experience preparing hazmat declarations and other specialized shipping documentation.
