Flex Surgical Equipment Technician I

What you will do

• Inspect, evaluate, and test surgical medical equipment and instruments.
• Disassemble and assemble equipment, replace defective parts, and complete repairs.
• Document services, testing performed, and parts used.
• Maintain the work area according to Visual Work Place standards.
• Complete timecard and time-off entries and perform additional assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of repair experience.
• Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, and stoop frequently, including lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to use computer systems and specialized tools, including soldering irons, grinding wheels, microscopes, precision hand tools, and test equipment.
• Ability to handle and assemble small parts and repair basic equipment models.
• Flexibility to adjust the work schedule to meet department needs.
