Principal Platform Engineer (Cloud)

What you will do

• Build and improve reusable platform services, modules, templates, and engineering blueprints.
• Develop prototypes, automation patterns, and production-ready solutions for hybrid cloud and container platforms.
• Support Kubernetes and OpenShift, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, GitOps, and platform automation initiatives.
• Embed observability, reliability, resilience, and maintainability into platform solutions.
• Contribute to secure-by-design capabilities, policy enforcement, and technical guardrails.
• Reduce manual effort and simplify complex platform engineering processes through pragmatic improvements.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on engineering expertise and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments, Kubernetes or OpenShift, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and security controls.
• Ability to build, test, automate, and improve complex platform capabilities.
• Ability to create reusable solutions that can be adopted by other engineering teams.
• Software engineering experience for developing and maintaining platform-level capabilities is beneficial.
