Senior DevX Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Own and evolve software platform capabilities supporting secure, reliable, and efficient delivery across ground systems.
• Design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates using GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
• Automate cloud and on-premises infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
• Implement monitoring, observability, incident response, and reliability practices based on SLOs and error budgets.
• Define software quality standards, technical documentation, operational playbooks, and platform practices.
• Lead engineering communities of practice and mentor teams on DevOps, automation, CI/CD, and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, scalable CI/CD platforms, and developer enablement solutions.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native platform architectures.
• Expert automation skills with Python, PowerShell, and Bash, plus experience with Terraform, Helm, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of observability, reliability engineering, incident management, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows and engineering productivity tooling.
• Background in aerospace, mission-critical, or highly regulated engineering environments.
• Experience building and managing internal developer platforms.
