Content & AI Lead (UK Sports Betting)

Location: Remote across Europe, with a hybrid option in Malta.

hirify.global is an iGaming lead generation company operating informational betting portals and digital performance marketing websites.

What you will do

• Own the UK sports betting portal’s content strategy, editorial roadmap and content plan across sports, evergreen, commercial and betting-focused content.
• Drive traffic, rankings, engagement, conversions, revenue and profitability through data-led content decisions and optimisation.
• Lead the content team through recruitment, coaching, performance management, workload planning and resource allocation.
• Maintain editorial quality, accuracy, differentiation, SEO performance and compliance with UK gambling and industry requirements.
• Embed AI tools and workflows into research, briefing, SERP analysis, QA, fact-checking, optimisation and publishing.
• Work with SEO, Product, Design, Development, Affiliate, AI and central Content teams while managing the content budget and commercial contribution.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sports betting, iGaming, sports media, affiliate or a closely related content environment, ideally with UK market experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK sports and betting, particularly football, and a clear understanding of the sports audience.
• Experience leading or managing a content or editorial team and owning an end-to-end content operation.
• Strong knowledge of SEO, search intent, keyword research, content strategy and content optimisation, with experience using tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console or Google Analytics.
• Excellent editorial judgement, writing, research, fact-checking and quality-control skills, combined with a commercial and analytical mindset.
• Advanced hands-on AI fluency, including experience improving workflows through AI tools, automations, agents or multi-step processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, MCPs or APIs.
• Experience building or experimenting with AI-powered content workflows.
