Senior Director, Ecosystem Growth, South Korea (Web3)

What you will do

• Lead market intelligence, brand presence, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem growth across South Korea and support selected regional initiatives.
• Build awareness across DeFi, crypto capital markets, payments, and institutional financial use cases.
• Identify market participants and ecosystem contacts while maintaining records of counterparty-initiated communications.
• Partner with Commercial and Business Development teams on market intelligence, regulatory insights, pipeline strategy, and market entry sequencing.
• Coordinate with Product, Solutions, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and external partners to support compliant market engagement.
• Track and report market intelligence, regulatory developments, and stakeholder engagement activity.

Requirements

• 13+ years of experience in business development and market expansion.
• Proven growth, revenue, or transaction-volume experience in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure.
• Experience driving ecosystem growth and managing complex partnerships across commercial and technical teams.
• Senior leadership experience working with regulators, policymakers, or government stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of crypto markets, stablecoins, DeFi, or institutional financial flows.
• Native or business fluency in Korean and English.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth fintech, blockchain, or payments companies operating in South Korea and adjacent markets.
• Experience building repeatable operational frameworks and playbooks across multiple Web3 or crypto markets.
• Experience leading diverse, distributed teams and strong cultural fluency.
• Familiarity with generative AI models and prompt development, Slack, macOS, and GSuite.
