Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Sterile Compounding)

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; fully onsite with no remote work

What you will do

• Compound sterile and non-sterile medications in an ISO 5 environment according to USP 797, USP 800, and applicable regulations.
• Complete required documentation and perform cleaning and disinfection of cleanrooms, anterooms, hoods, and equipment.
• Manage workflow, distribute workload, shift resources, and provide backfill support as needed.
• Operate production equipment, change labels, clean printers, monitor equipment, and restock materials.
• Report equipment malfunctions and serve as a first-line resource for team questions in coordination with the supervisor.
• Support a positive work environment and assist team members with daily operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• PTCB certification.
• Knowledge of dispensing pharmacy concepts and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday with a rotating day off and modified schedules when needed.
• Ability to work onsite in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, including extended standing, cleaning while wearing full sterile attire and a respirator, and lifting 20–30 pounds.

Nice to have

• Previous sterile compounding experience.
