General Service Technician / Mechanic (Automotive)

What you will do

• Perform maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and suspension alignments.
• Conduct state-mandated vehicle emissions and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest concerns and communicate vehicle damage or malfunctions clearly.
• Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance reports.
• Follow federal, state, and local service regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized shop and support housekeeping activities.

Requirements

• Current driver's license.
• Entry-level applicants are welcome; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift or move more than 50 pounds occasionally and work with tools in elevated and confined vehicle spaces.
• Manual-tool dexterity, the ability to stand and walk most of the workday, and comfort working at a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles and use a computer efficiently.
