Mortgage Solutions Advisor (Mortgages)

Location: Halifax, NS; remote work is available, but occasional onsite attendance is required and the primary work location must be reachable within two hours’ notice.

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound mortgage sales inquiries and fulfill leads for purchases, refinances, ports, and early renewals.
• Answer client questions, resolve issues, and follow up on required documentation and signatures.
• Follow up on leads from the call centre, servicing teams, information statements, discharge statements, and mortgage verifications.
• Maintain current knowledge of mortgage products, policies, procedures, market conditions, competition, and pricing.
• Work with underwriters and advancing partners to support mortgage approval and funding.
• Achieve sales targets while maintaining client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Experience in the residential mortgage business.
• Understanding of mortgage products, market conditions and trends, and pricing issues.
• Ability to work independently in a private, quiet workspace with a closing door.
• Reliable wired internet with at least 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds; satellite internet is not permitted.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to attend the specified Halifax work location when required.
• Flexibility to work shifts during contact centre hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST, and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
