What you will do
- Write Linux user-space and kernel code for DMA, routing, forwarding, and hardware integration.
- Develop software at the boundary between networking chips, ASICs, FPGAs, media adapters, PCIe bridges, and embedded Linux systems.
- Implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols including LLDP, 802.1X, BFD, BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- Access ASIC registers through SPI, SMBus, PCIe, and I2C while implementing high-resolution timing, flow monitoring, and congestion statistics.
- Build configuration management services with Go and Python using YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC, SSH, and SSL.
- Develop concurrent, fault-tolerant routing agents and automated Python test harnesses for large device fleets.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field at Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD level.
- Knowledge of one or more of C, C++, Java, Python, Go, React, Redux, Node.js, networking, Linux, embedded systems, algorithms, or software development.
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to solve challenging technical problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, highly technical environment.
- Availability to work in Dublin, Ireland.
