Senior Observability / DevOps Engineer (Datadog)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine; remote work is supported through a Work From Anywhere culture.

What you will do

• Plan and execute the migration of a large Datadog child organization into a standalone organization.
• Migrate monitors, dashboards, SLOs, log pipelines, indexes, archives, retention settings, and related observability data.
• Automate migration activities using the Datadog API, CLI, and Terraform Datadog Provider.
• Migrate and configure integrations, Agents, API keys, RBAC, SAML/SSO, and SCIM.
• Support AWS and Kubernetes/EKS integrations and validate monitoring, security, and observability configurations before cutover.
• Troubleshoot migration issues, collaborate with engineering teams, and support stabilization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in observability, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• 5+ years of Datadog implementation, administration, or migration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog organization and account migrations, including parent/child or multi-organization environments.
• Experience with Datadog monitors, dashboards, SLOs, Agents, APM, distributed tracing, and Log Management.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, CI/CD, Terraform, RBAC, SAML/SSO, SCIM, and API/application key management.

Nice to have

• Datadog Certified Professional or Datadog Partner and consulting experience.
• Enterprise observability architecture experience.
• Experience with Datadog Synthetics, Private Locations, CSPM, PagerDuty, Slack, ServiceNow, or webhook integrations.
• Experience validating monitoring parity in dual-running environments before cutover.
