LLM Data Scientist/Algorithm Engineer (AI)

Location: Asia; 100% remote, work from home

What you will do

• Own the full LLM pipeline from data preparation through production deployment and real-world usage.
• Design and optimize zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, and tool-calling prompts for model utility and safety.
• Build and maintain RAG question-answering and search systems connected to multiple knowledge sources.
• Deploy and operate LLM services using vLLM or SGLang across multi-GPU and cluster environments.
• Implement multi-agent architectures with task decomposition, orchestration, shared memory, and tool-calling workflows.
• Integrate conversational AI models into customer-service scenarios and evaluate quality, bias, and hallucination rates.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of deep-learning or NLP experience, including 1+ year of practical LLM work such as SFT, DPO, RAG, quantization, or inference optimization.
• Hands-on expertise in prompt engineering and tuning, including few-shot design, structured prompting, prefix-/p-tuning, reward reranking, and safety filtering.
• Practical experience building and deploying multi-agent LLM workflows, including orchestrator patterns, shared memory, long-horizon planning, and guardrails.
• Proficient communication in English and Chinese is required for cross-team collaboration.
