SOC Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal, with 3 days on-site per week. Candidates must already be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Monitor, analyse, and protect systems against cyber-attacks, malware, data threats, and other security incidents.
• Use security monitoring tools such as DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty, or equivalent platforms.
• Monitor network infrastructures and technologies across LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS/NTP, routing protocols, and MPLS.
• Handle, track, review, and prioritise tickets and tasks in line with SLAs.
• Identify, own, and escalate issues that may affect service delivery.
• Work in a 24/7 shift system covering operational hours.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center or equivalent technical training.
• Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure, TCP/IP, DNS/NTP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
• Experience with security monitoring tools such as DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty, or equivalent.
• Strong ability to manage and prioritise tickets according to SLAs.
• Fluency in English at B2 level.
• Availability for hybrid work in Porto and valid Portuguese, EU, or work-permit status.
