TL;DR
SOC Consultant (Cybersecurity): Monitoring and protecting a European stock-market trading platform through SOC operations, SIEM analysis, and security-control assessment with an accent on infrastructure security, networking, and incident detection. Focus on analyzing security events, applying MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and OWASP practices, and making timely decisions under pressure.
Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal

Work on a project for a leading global trading platform operating in the European stock market area, as part of a multicultural team distributed across European cities.
What you will do
- Monitor security events and support SOC operations for a trading platform.
- Work with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
- Assess IT infrastructure, networking, and security controls.
- Apply security frameworks and best practices, including MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and OWASP.
- Analyze security situations and make decisions under tight timelines and pressure.
Requirements
- Academic background in Information Security or a related field.
- Proven experience in SOC or MSSP environments.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms and monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security controls.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English, with strong communication and organizational skills.

- Security+, CySA+, SC-200, BTLO, or equivalent industry certifications.
