2027 Equity Middle Office Intern (Finance)

What you will do

• Support post-trade processing across the full trade lifecycle and ensure trading activity is reflected in internal systems and delivered to external partners.
• Work with prime brokers and executing brokers to resolve trade settlement breaks and reduce operational risk.
• Create and improve organized, centralized databases with the Middle Office team.
• Collaborate with Operations senior management and peer groups including Core Operations, Asset Servicing, Technology, Market Data, Accounting, Portfolio Finance, fund administrators, and brokers.
• Learn how asset types, market data, counterparties, and operational infrastructure support a hedge fund.

Requirements

• Interest in gaining Operations experience at a hedge fund.
• Basic understanding of capital markets, investing, and hedge fund strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability for the ten-week internship program in London.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or another programming language.
• Experience with reporting or analytics tools and data aggregation.
