UK Summer Internship Programme 2027 (Investment Banking)

Location: London, UK; the internship runs in the London office from 21 June 2027 to 27 August 2027.

What you will do

• Perform financial analysis and assist with valuations.
• Conduct industry research and develop an understanding of M&A processes.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda and management presentations.
• Support senior bankers with business development and meeting preparation.
• Participate in due diligence and transaction closing processes.
• Contribute to live M&A projects after completing an initial week of training.

Requirements

• Must be a penultimate-year student enrolled in full-time study, graduating in Spring/Summer 2028.
• Exceptional academic record and a clear interest in financial services.
• Knowledge of accounting, finance, and business fundamentals.
• Strong numerical, analytical, communication, and computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for the duration of the internship.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in M&A, capital raising, or investment banking.
