Medical Director

Location: National Remote within the United States; work from home.

Base pay: $191,500–$355,600 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Manage assigned aspects of medical policies and programs.
• Perform medical reviews for assigned areas.
• Interact with provider communities.
• Document case reviews electronically using business software.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted physician license in a state or territory of the United States.
• Medical degree as an M.D. or D.O.
• Board certification from an approved specialty board.
• At least five years of clinical experience.
• Analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.

Nice to have

• Three years of managed care experience.
• Specialty background in rheumatology, neurology, oncology, internal medicine, or family medicine.
