Buyer - Contract & Vendor Management (Procurement and Supplier Risk): Managing supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle and supporting sourcing, negotiations, vendor governance, and compliance with an accent on commercial value creation, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Focus on coordinating renewals, monitoring supplier performance, assessing contract risks, and driving continuous improvement with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Location: ING Belgium, Marnixlaan 24, 1000 Brussels. Hybrid way of working with up to 50% remote work; Mondays and Wednesdays are currently office days.

What you will do
- Manage supplier contracts through signature, renewal, amendment, and termination.
- Coordinate contract renewals and translate business needs into suitable contractual solutions.
- Support supplier sourcing, market analysis, benchmarking, and commercial negotiations.
- Monitor supplier performance, contractual compliance, and supplier-related risks.
- Prepare and participate in Vendor Review Meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify optimization and innovation opportunities while improving contract and vendor management processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, contract management, vendor management, or a similar field.
- Experience with supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations, and risk management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a complex, regulated environment.
- Proactive, structured, organized, and able to take ownership while working autonomously and collaboratively.
- Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and delivering tangible results.
