Senior Observability / DevOps Engineer (Datadog)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine; remote work is offered.

What you will do

• Plan and execute the migration of a large Datadog child organization into a standalone organization.
• Migrate monitors, dashboards, SLOs, log pipelines, indexes, archives, retention configurations, integrations, agents, and access settings.
• Automate migration activities using the Datadog API, CLI, and Terraform Datadog Provider.
• Support AWS and Kubernetes/EKS integrations and validate migrated monitoring, observability, and security configurations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, troubleshoot migration issues, and support operational stabilization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in observability, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• 5+ years of Datadog implementation, administration, or migration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog organization and account migrations, including parent/child or multi-organization environments.
• Experience with Datadog API, CLI, Terraform Datadog Provider, monitors, dashboards, SLOs, Agents, APM, distributed tracing, and Log Management.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD, RBAC, SAML/SSO, SCIM, and API/application key management.

Nice to have

• Datadog Certified Professional status or Datadog partner and consulting experience.
• Enterprise observability architecture experience.
• Experience with Datadog Synthetics, Private Locations, CSPM, and security monitoring.
• Experience with PagerDuty, Slack, ServiceNow, webhooks, or dual-running monitoring validation.
