TL;DR
Cost Accountant Analyst (Manufacturing) (Cost Accounting/Financial Analysis): Preparing and analyzing product and manufacturing costs, financial reports, forecasts, inventory valuations, and cash flow for a climate technology manufacturing plant with an accent on standard costing, variance analysis, and ERP-supported process improvement. Focus on interpreting complex financial data, supporting audits and month-end close, and partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering on plant performance.
Location: Mikulov, Czechia; full onsite role

What you will do
- Prepare and analyze product and manufacturing costs and maintain standard costing processes.
- Perform annual standard cost roll activities and analyze cost variances and plant financial performance.
- Support month-end closing, financial reporting, management reporting, and internal and external audits.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow forecasting, inventory valuation, and cycle count reviews.
- Provide financial support for operational and strategic projects, identify performance risks and opportunities, and support ERP enhancements and process improvements.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions to support business decisions.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or accounting.
- Fluent Czech and English, written and spoken, are mandatory.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, communicate financial concepts clearly, and collaborate with multiple departments.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
