Senior Data Scientist (Mobile Gaming)

Location: Bydgoszcz, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days from the office

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced data science solutions for player engagement and monetization.
• Build and productionize machine learning models, including player behavior and personalization systems.
• Design experimentation methodology and scalable tooling for data-driven product decisions.
• Apply causal inference, statistical modeling, and model validation methods.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Establish technical standards and maintain scalable, well-documented internal tools and code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning, preferably in product-oriented, data-driven environments.
• End-to-end ownership of machine learning or analytics projects from concept through production.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and experimental design.
• Hands-on Python experience with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and statsmodels.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with PySpark or other big data tools.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, MLOps, and deployment practices such as Databricks, MLflow, and GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Product Data Science experience focused on experimentation, causal inference, and data-driven product decisions.
• Experience building scalable, production-level data science solutions using software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Bayesian modeling and probabilistic programming, including PyMC, TFP, or NumPyro.
• Passion for mobile games and experience modeling player behavior or game economies.
