What you will do

  • Develop optimization solutions using linear, integer, and nonlinear programming and heuristics.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle following CRISP-DM: from business understanding and data preparation to deployment.
  • Deliver technical tasks including data processing, feature engineering, and hypothesis testing.
  • Act as a technical ambassador and consultant for external clients.
  • Identify and implement proactive improvements in existing solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in data science with a proven track record of successful commercial projects.
  • Expertise in optimization libraries such as CPLEX, Gurobi, or OR-Tools.
  • Strong Python coding skills and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure (GCP/AWS is a plus).
  • Advanced English proficiency for client-facing communication.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and CRISP-DM.

Nice to have

  • Practical experience with Generative AI.
  • Deep domain knowledge in Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory).
  • Knowledge of R and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in Python.
  • Experience in operationalizing models using Virtual Machines (VMs).
