Junior Buyer (Fashion Retail)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Head Office in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, Sweden, with four days per week of office presence required. The position is offered on a local contract, and candidates must have the legal right to work in Sweden.

What you will do

• Support the Buyer with product development and buying activities in line with assortment strategy, customer needs, and commercial goals.
• Help optimize assortments and buying decisions across customer touchpoints and sales channels.
• Coordinate product development timelines from planning through delivery, including sample handling, fittings, administration, and follow-up.
• Support order placements and amendments while working with Production on price, timing, capacity, sustainability, and product expectations.
• Monitor sales and stock performance and support actions that improve commercial results.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Designers, Pattern Makers, Production teams, and other stakeholders to maintain effective ways of working.

Requirements

• Experience or knowledge of buying, assortment planning, and product development in fashion retail.
• Understanding of the fashion industry, trends, customer behavior, and market relevance.
• Knowledge of production processes, product construction, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Experience with relevant buying, planning, and product development tools and systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Legal right to work in Sweden is required before applying.
