TL;DR
Global Trade Data Analyst (Trade Compliance) (SAP/MIC and international trade): Collecting and analyzing global trade, tariff, customs, shipment, and trade agreement data with an accent on compliance, data integrity, and duty optimization. Focus on supporting China and Europe import/export processes, reconciling customs data, maintaining trade systems, and automating reporting and data collection.

is hiring for a global trade data analysis role supporting international trade operations.
What you will do
- Collect, organize, and analyze data on international trade, tariffs, customs regulations, shipments, and trade agreements.
- Prepare reports and presentations covering trade trends, costs, risks, and opportunities for senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor global trade regulations and support import/export compliance for China and Europe, including China country-of-origin monitoring and European customs reconciliation.
- Support tariff impact analysis, duty optimization strategies such as First Sale in the US, Free Trade Agreement evaluation in Asia, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Maintain accurate trade data in SAP and MIC systems, troubleshoot discrepancies, and collaborate with trade country managers.
- Partner with logistics, supply chain, finance, operations, and trade technology teams to improve processes and automate reporting and data collection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in trade analytics, supply chain data analysis, or a related area.
- Experience with trade management systems such as SAP and MIC, plus advanced data analysis tools including Excel.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, tariffs, customs procedures, global supply chains, HS and ECCN codes, and import/export documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Full-time daytime schedule in Singapore-Yishun; occasional travel may be required.

- Knowledge of Descartes or similar trade management software.
