Lead E&I&C Project Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Austria, Jenbach. The role includes project execution, commissioning, maintenance, and willingness to travel 20%.

What you will do

• Engineer, design, and optimize electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment and systems for gas-engine power plants.
• Prepare and maintain circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Select and specify sensors, actuators, measuring devices, and control components.
• Plan and support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement activities.
• Program and parameterize PLC and HMI systems for multi-engine plants and define control-system programming requirements.
• Coordinate with internal specialist departments, external suppliers, and service providers while ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Dipl.-Ing., or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics, or graduation from a Higher Technical Institute.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
• Experience in E&I&C, automation, or industrial plant engineering, including instrumentation, control technology, electrical engineering, and design.
• Experience with PLC systems such as B&R, Siemens, or Beckhoff and CAE tools such as EPLAN.
• Fluent German and English required.
• Analytical, structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style with the ability to manage multiple projects.
