Customer & Distribution Analyst

Location: Hybrid, Hamburg or Frankfurt, Germany; 80–100% position supporting Germany and Austria.

Salary: €53,000–€88,000 gross annually for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Support distribution channel management for customers and brokers across Germany and Austria.
• Structure and control sales-related activities to improve consistency and quality across the sales process.
• Analyze customer and broker performance using KPIs and prepare actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate business development initiatives with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Maintain CRM records and prepare reports and presentations on performance trends.
• Represent the Corporate Solutions product portfolio, including innovative risk solutions and Risk Data Services.

Requirements

• Background or initial experience in the insurance market, including distribution management, underwriting, risk management, or insurance marketing.
• Professional proficiency in German and English, written and spoken, is required.
• Hands-on experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree, equivalent qualification, or insurance-specific professional certification.
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders and interpreting data and KPIs.
• Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Insurance-specific professional certification, such as Kaufmann/-frau für Versicherungen und Finanzanlagen.
