Software Development Engineer in Test - Contractor

What you will do

• Plan and execute quality engineering activities, including test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Review requirements, technical specifications, and designs to identify quality risks.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across platforms and devices.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks and automated test suites.
• Develop UI and REST API tests, analyze results, investigate failures, and verify defect fixes.
• Monitor CI/CD jobs, communicate quality risks and blockers, and collaborate with engineering, product, and QE teams on release readiness.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in UI automation for web applications.
• Experience writing automated tests in Python, JavaScript, C++, or another programming language.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, or other UI automation technologies.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs, libraries, SDKs, application frameworks, and native applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience writing test code or scripts for a game console.
• Application development experience, especially game application development.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, CircleCI, and other development, deployment, source control, or CI/CD tools.
