Senior AIOps Engineer

Location: Shah Alam, Malaysia

What you will do

• Lead technical delivery for the AIOps initiative backlog supporting critical payment services.
• Apply anomaly detection, clustering, and time-series forecasting to logs, metrics, and transaction data using Python.
• Design AI/LLM orchestration workflows for alert triage, enrichment, routing, and operational decision-making.
• Build Python automation, self-healing workflows, and automated runbook execution, using PHP or Node.js for integrations.
• Define and track SLI/SLOs, maintain operational dashboards, and produce capacity, workload, and bottleneck analyses.
• Partner with DevOps, SRE, Engineering, and Platform teams to reduce MTTD/MTTR and support PCI DSS audit readiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or operational/data analytics.
• Python is required as the primary language.
• PHP or Node.js is required as a secondary language.
• Practical experience in at least two areas: ML fundamentals, AI orchestration, automation/RPA, and data analysis.
• Required experience mentoring or leading junior engineers, including code review, architecture guidance, and growth planning.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Payments, fintech, banking, or regulated-environment experience.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Container/orchestration platforms and messaging or event-streaming systems.
• PCI DSS experience.
