Director of Billing Operations | Quote-to-Cash (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role in Monterrey, Mexico

What you will do

• Lead the global Billing Operations team, setting priorities, performance expectations, and development plans.
• Own billing accuracy, timeliness, backlog, forecasts, metrics, predictability, and issue resolution across SaaS, recurring revenue, professional services, and other billing models.
• Partner with IT, PMO, and Quote-to-Cash stakeholders to improve processes, translate requirements, increase automation, and support new technology adoption.
• Strengthen order quality, contract interpretation, data integrity, controls, and upstream processes to reduce billing exceptions and rework.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Finance on close activities, AR health, issue resolution, and billing and cash forecasting.
• Establish billing governance and lead root-cause analysis, operational transformation, continuous improvement, and team development through change.

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience in billing operations, Quote-to-Cash, finance operations, or related disciplines, preferably in a global SaaS or technology organization.
• 6+ years of experience leading and developing teams across multiple geographies or functions.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS, subscription, recurring revenue, and professional services billing, including complex contract and billing structures.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes, internal controls, Accounts Receivable, billing metrics, financial close, and forecasting.
• Experience leading operational transformation, process improvement, or billing technology implementation initiatives, supported by analytical, problem-solving, change leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience; experience in multi-company, multi-entity, and multi-currency environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Billing, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Zuora, or comparable enterprise subscription billing platforms.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
