Federal Tax Services Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Los Angeles, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required

Salary: $36–$43 per hour

What you will do

• Work on a team covering federal tax specialty areas, including corporate, individual, pass-through entity, private client, and not-for-profit taxation.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Develop an understanding of tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
• Travel to assigned client locations using reliable transportation.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours toward a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree at an accredited university.
• Major in accounting.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
