Supervisor - Composites Production (Evening Shift) (Aerospace)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; onsite evening shift, Monday–Thursday, 15:00–01:30

What you will do

• Lead composites production teams and drive performance against production schedules and quality standards.
• Support Leading Hands and team leaders, remove operational blockers, and manage short- and medium-term team planning.
• Release production orders, maintain accurate schedules, identify schedule risks, and execute mitigation plans with customer and supplier departments.
• Ensure work conforms to specifications, inspect and sign off completed technician work, and monitor delivery, quality, competency, and downtime metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement, innovation, training, and cross-training initiatives.
• Support new product introduction from engineering development through full-rate production and conduct performance reviews for direct reports.

Requirements

• Proven operational leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of composite assemblies and production processes.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, resource management, and project plans with accurate time estimates.
• Ability to inspect and sign off technician work to hirify.global standards.
