What you will do
- Lead the engineering organisations responsible for Connected Trip product experiences, foundational capabilities, and Data & AI.
- Partner with Product and Data to plan and deliver strategic objectives across the Marketplace function.
- Embed Gen AI into customer experiences, ways of working, and data platforms.
- Lead Directors, Senior Managers, and Principal-level technical talent while building a high-trust, inclusive engineering organisation.
- Shape technology strategy, architecture, roadmaps, budgets, and long-term delivery plans.
- Drive engineering craftsmanship, Agile practices, DevOps culture, scalability, and organisational maturity.
Requirements
- Extensive technology leadership experience in large-scale organisations.
- Experience with high-traffic platforms of 100,000+ daily visitors, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace businesses.
- Experience leading a cross-functional engineering function or business unit of approximately 150–200+ people.
- Proven ability to design and build high-quality, high-volume consumer-facing web and mobile applications.
- Experience setting and influencing medium- and long-term Engineering and Business strategy, managing senior technology leaders, and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile culture, engineering craftsmanship, communication, and commercial strategy.
