Mainframe zOS Network Host Support - Senior (Mainframe)

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and support Mainframe Network environments for z/OS.
• Manage VTAM, TCP/IP, SNA, and file transfer protocols.
• Monitor system data, resolve incidents, and maintain security compliance for client environments.
• Plan incidents and changes, prioritize assignment queues, and coordinate with technicians.
• Recommend modernization options and collaborate with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience supporting Mainframe Network environments for z/OS.
• Knowledge of COMM SERVER BASE SUPPORT, VTAM APPN, OMPROUTE, SMTP, SSH, and TCP/IP stacks on LPAR.
• Experience with encrypted FTP using SSL/TLS, AT/TLS with PAGENT, IPSec/VPN with PAGENT and IKED, and z/OS network services.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Enterprise Extender, TN3270 servers, Dynamic VIPA, and z/OS Load Balancing Advisor.
• Good English communication skills for meetings with clients, partners, and coworkers.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Connect Direct for Mainframe.
• Knowledge of RACF/ACF2, CL SuperSession, IBM NetView, session management, CA network products, Network Director, MacKinney Switch, and mainframe network printer products.
