Senior Anti-Cheat Engineer (C/C++)

What you will do

• Develop and evolve Vanguard Anti-Cheat client services across user-mode, kernel-mode, and obfuscation tooling.
• Build anti-cheat features and deploy resilient detections and preventative countermeasures at scale.
• Reverse engineer packed, protected, and obfuscated cheats and operating system manipulation techniques.
• Design capabilities that anticipate emerging cheating methods and eliminate abuse vectors.
• Investigate complex compatibility issues across the Windows stack.
• Support game teams with cheat ecosystem analysis and Anti-Cheat integration.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C/C++ and x86/x64 assembly.
• Experience building and debugging low-level, security-sensitive systems.
• Strong understanding of Windows process internals, including memory, handles, security contexts, executable formats, DLL loading, and the Windows loader.
• Hands-on reverse engineering experience with packed, protected, or obfuscated binaries.
• Production experience developing, debugging, and maintaining Windows kernel-mode drivers.

Nice to have

• Experience with cheat development or game-security research communities.
• Knowledge of hypervisors, DKOM, EPT manipulation, vulnerable drivers, or hardware-assisted cheats.
• Knowledge of runtime integrity verification, behavioral detection, client attestation, and signature-less anti-cheat techniques.
