Principal/Senior Linux Security Researcher (Cortex)

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel; full-time office-based work is expected for most teams. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Research, develop, and improve endpoint security solutions focused on comprehensive prevention.
• Build defenses against malware and exploits, from low-level mitigations to application-level security.
• Research Linux operating system internals, kernels, application codebases, vulnerabilities, malware, and exploits.
• Respond to customer security events involving malware and exploitation prevention.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of development experience in C, C++, or Rust.
• At least 3 years of security research experience.
• At least 3 years of reverse-engineering experience, including static and dynamic analysis on x86/64 architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of operating system internals.
• Development knowledge in scripting languages.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative.

Nice to have

• Linux knowledge and Python experience.
• Exploitation experience in application-level security or memory corruption.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud workload security.
• Experience leading endpoint security projects across organizational boundaries and teams.
• Academic experience.
• Published security research, conference presentations, or CVEs.
